This summer, nearly 60 students from the Missouri School of Journalism are enjoying an unprecedented opportunity — serving as volunteers during the coverage of the Olympic Games in Beijing.
The students, who are working under the supervision of J-school faculty members Larry Powell and Greg Bowers, arrived in China at the end of June and have undergone training by the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee while they live on the campus of Renmin University.
Throughout their time in Beijing, the students and faculty members will be posting to this blog to share their experiences, photos, videos and links to their own personal blogs. We welcome your comments and feedback.
